Membership

The Kyle of Sutherland has always attracted fishers wishing to become club members.  Unfortunately there is not room for them all.  A decision was taken to limit membership to 120 Senior members, excluding juniors and OAP’s, this being felt the maximum number that the fishing’s could sustain, when combined with visiting day ticket holders. 

Having decided on the numbers that could be sustained, an area had to be set in which qualifying members had to reside. This is an extract from the constitution that deals with it,” Membership of the Association shall be restricted to persons residing within a roughly drawn geographical triangle extending between the north side of the Cromarty Firth Bridge to the south, Oykle Bridge to the west and the Mound, East Sutherland to the north.”
