Paul, I take it you mean the Kylie Shrimp? The pattern in the Salmon Flies of Scotland by Stan Headley is:
Tag: Silver wire
Tail: Orange bucktail (a few strands), orange twinkle, a short golden pheasant red body feather tied in flat i.e not wound
Butt: Black Floss
Body: Rear half flat copper; front black floss
Rib: Silver wire, over copper only
Mid hackle: Orange cock. (This hackle is at the midpoint of the body i.e. it splits the copper and black)
Head Hackle: Orange cock tied false above and below shank plus a few fibres of guinea fowl dyed blue
Wing: Pair of jungle cock tied back to back
Overwing: Orange cock hackle fibres
Head: Red varnish
The fly is not to be confused with another of Allan Donaldson's inventions the Kylie which is a different pattern (got a salmon and a grilse on a Kylie tube on the Carron on Saturday). Hope this helps.
