Hugh Falkus swore by night fishing for seatrout so last friday night at 1am it fished below the bridge for an hour, there was plenty fish jumping but no takers. Hugh Falkus probably did not fish the Kyle very often! Seriously, though, I have probably caught more salmon than sea trout when fishing the Kyle at night (not done it for a long time now). Mind you, fishing at night may well work for other people on the Kyle.
